With my friend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.poulettemagique.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Poulette Magique<\/a> we decided to cross our worlds made of pink and sparkles and to make something fun for Christmas toegther \ud83d\ude42<br \/>\nThis week, because of the last events in Paris and Belgium, it was really not easy to enter into the Chrismtas spirit, but we worked hard and we will present you some nice pinky articles very soon.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll tell me that posting about a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popandsoda.com\/en\/diy-realiser-un-transfert-sur-cartes-postale-en-bois\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DIY<\/a> that I already presented a few weeks ago is not really a good start, and you&#8217;ll be right, but! This time, I&#8217;m sharing an holidays illustration that I&#8217;ve made just for you, to let you reproduce it and create your own greeting card! You&#8217;ll find the link to download it at the end of this post.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29586\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popandsoda.com\/medias\/2015\/11\/DIY-carte-de-voeux-en-bois-2.jpg?resize=710%2C473&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DIY-carte-de-voeux-en-bois-2\" width=\"710\" height=\"473\">The second surprise is that you&#8217;ll retrieve the previous Foxies and little coffee cup illustrations printed on postcards in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.popandsoda.com\/le-shop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">little shop<\/a> that I&#8217;ve just launched!<br \/>\nY&#8217;oull also retrieve the deer printed on greeting cards, and some wooden postcards will arrive soon!<br \/>\nAnd if you like the idea, I&#8217;ll present you the little shop in details in a few days. I hope you&#8217;ll like it!<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s talk about the DIY! You&#8217;ll find the steps below, and the illustration is available in different versions. Initially the deer is white. but this being not a great choice for a print on wood, I made the same version with a different color. You are free to choose the one you prefer. And you&#8217;ll find also a version without title. To create this DIY, all you have to do is to print the image using laser printer.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29503\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popandsoda.com\/medias\/2015\/11\/%C3%A9tapes_01.jpg?resize=710%2C473&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\u00e9tapes_01\" width=\"710\" height=\"473\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>You&#8217;ll need :<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">A woodcard. This one comes from one of my favorite shop: <a href=\"http:\/\/la-petite-epicerie.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la Petite Epicerie<\/a><br \/>\nCette fois-ci, <a href=\"http:\/\/la-petite-epicerie.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la Petite Epicerie<\/a> (qui est un peu beaucoup devenue ma boutique \/ Mercerie favorite), a eu la gentillesse de m&#8217;en envoyer de parfaites, qui sont plus \u00e9paisses et donc plus solides ! Je ne sais pas si elles seront propos\u00e9es \u00e0 la vente mais si c&#8217;est le cas je vous le ferait savoir.<\/li>\n<li>The illustration <strong>laser printed<\/strong> in <strong>mirror mode<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>A foam brush<\/li>\n<li>Mate Medium Gel<\/li>\n<li>Mod Podge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29504\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popandsoda.com\/medias\/2015\/11\/%C3%A9tapes_03.jpg?resize=710%2C235&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\u00e9tapes_03\" width=\"710\" height=\"235\">1 &#8211; Start by putting on a layer of matte gel medium right on top of your picture.<br \/>\n2 &#8211; Carefully lay your pictures face-down on top of your wood piece.<img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29580\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popandsoda.com\/medias\/2015\/11\/%C3%A9tapes_05.jpg?resize=710%2C234&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\u00e9tapes_05\" width=\"710\" height=\"234\"><\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211; Once you got your picture in place, use a card to smooth out and flatten any air bubbles underneath your picture. Let it dry for at least 8 hours (or better an entire night)<br \/>\n4 -The day after, take a watered sponge and rub off the paper fibers to reveal the picture underneath.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29506\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popandsoda.com\/medias\/2015\/11\/%C3%A9tapes_07.jpg?resize=710%2C233&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\u00e9tapes_07\" width=\"710\" height=\"233\">6\/7 &#8211; It looks lovely already! Let the transfer dry completely, then use the Mod Podge to seal the card. Let it dry again for about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29507\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.popandsoda.com\/medias\/2015\/11\/%C3%A9tapes_09.jpg?resize=710%2C472&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\u00e9tapes_09\" width=\"710\" height=\"472\">Tadaaaa!!
